Frequent headaches and a few surprises

Whilst our home was undergoing major renovation works, my husband and I had to live in a small caravan.

I had always suffered with frequent headaches, however, during our stay in the caravan the headaches became more frequent and severe.

I discovered that every time I carried out my usual cleaning routine in the caravan, I would get a bad headache and generally feel unwell.

The confined space of the caravan and using the cleaning products was an obvious connection.

For the first time I actually looked at the ingredients used in my cleaning products, and couldn’t believe my eyes. I looked them up on the internet to find out what they were and I immediately thought there is no way I want these products anywhere near my home.

I had just assumed that because I could buy them at my local supermarket they were safe. How wrong I was!

Since using chemical free products my life has changed. I hardly suffer from any headaches now and it no longer feels like you should be wearing a mask just to clean the bathroom.

While I was researching into alternative cleaning products I found out that harsh chemicals were also used in the skin care and beauty industry.

When looking for alternative skin care products I found it often confusing. Some products although advertised as natural still contained some of these harmful chemicals as well as natural the ingredients.

My husband came up with the idea we should raise consumer awareness and establish our own collection. If it is confusing to know which products are safe, why not get rid of the confusion and only sell the products that are free from these harsh chemicals.

Our company ‘Non Toxic Matters’ was born!

Our Skin Care Range

All the skin care products on offer have been made only using natural and where possible organically grown ingredients.

They are all free from Petrochemicals, Parabens, Sulfates, Harsh Chemicals, Propylene Glycols, Alcohols and Synthetic fragrances and colours.

You will find all products are suitable for vegetarians and most of them suitable for vegans. Neither the ingredients nor the final products have been tested on animals.

All the household laundry and cleaning products on offer are environmentally friendly and biodegradable. Neither the ingredients nor the final products have been tested on animals.

They are without the harsh synthetic and chemical ingredients and yet still being just as effective as the conventional products you’re used to buying. Why would you want to use anything else!
